Pros

Taking corona virus serious. Implementing travel ban and hoping for a strong baseline number supporting the money saved and proving most positions can be worked remotely and if not, reassessed for proper alignment/need.

Cons

The amount of money spent on non value add travel. Managers say they are traveling for productive visits but most just sit in conference rooms and do not engage. It’s so offensive when you hear at corporate people like the US/Canada HR biggest concern is maintaining airline status for the lounge access. Complains about all the travel for attention. The optics are not good and frankly its a turn off.

Pros

Co-workers are friendly. Easy repetitive work. Can listen to headphones.

Cons

No Sick Leave, Poor PTO for hours worked. Management severely lacks proper leadership and communication skills. Raises after first 90 days are almost nonexistent (people with 10+ years of experience are payed the same, if not less, than a new hire with no experience). OT is constant 50+ hours a week, with Saturdays being voluntary, unless there aren't enough volunteers then it becomes mandatory. Changes to the production floor are made during the busy season when production is behind, forcing even more OT. Input, from people that are effected by said changes, is ignored. Team mentality is pushed even though management plays favorites. Safety issues submitted through proper channels are ignored if management doesn't want to deal with it. HR will always side with management on any issue.

Best company to work for, but...

Pros

Work/life balance is definitely there. There is a "Family First" mentality, which as a parent, I truly appreciated. Senior Management are some of the most down to earth and friendly people I've ever met. Overall morale is very high, and certainly one of the happiest places I've worked for. Benefits are fantastic. Literally the best company I've worked for.

Cons

Speaking primarily for my department: No shot at vertical mobility. You will be pinned down. Forget any idea you have of moving on within the company. Reviews were overly critical and written in such a way as to deter any future managers from wanting you on their team. If your department has a high turnover rate, there's a reason why.. Just keep that in mind. I ignored it. (4 people out of a team of 9, in 8 months.....) One HR member in particular is completely unprofessional, and I was actually told quite rudely "there's no point in talking this over," during a meeting that pertained to my employment. I thought HR was supposed to be a liaison and unbiased? Good looking out..
