Pros

Management is okay, but could be better. I was able to receive a parking pass.

Cons

At the start of working with this company almost 2 years ago everything was great. After the company welcomed their new CEO, everything went down hill from that point. Their clients are not the brightest, and on top of all that, they have you coming to an office that has minimal parking for a job you can do at working remotely. I am a current employee, but I will not be here much longer due to everything that has changed with this company. I would explore other options if you are considering this company for employment and make this your last option.

Pros

Enjoy the type of work

Cons

Oydessy went from a very enjoyable place to work, to an awful place to work in a matter of 1 month. New CEO appointed, and has "his way or the highway" approach. Managers no longer can manage their teams, they have no authority to make decisions. Moral at the company is an all time low, we went from a flexible company to one that is FAR from what it used to be, demanding employees to be in the office 5 days a week with no wiggle room for anything. HR walking around taking attendance, it's like elementary school. Coming to the office now feels like a jail, it's so depressing. Only a month ago, we were in a far different place with managers having the ability to manage their teams and handle situations as they come up, all while getting the job done.

Pros

Commute isn’t bad. I do like my ops manager.

Cons

85% new people because Odyssey does not know how to get and retain good employees. Been with Odyssey for over a decade so I have seen the good and the bad. Right now, is very bad. Morale is at an all time low. A new CEO started and instantly took anything good we had away. Butt in the seat leaders do not work anymore. Take a second and gauge the temperature of the room. We now have zero flexibility with working remote. We use to have one to two assigned remote days a week. Now we have ZERO. The company is moving back. Everyone is looking for new jobs. We can’t support a company that is not forward thinking. It’s 2022 and some people clearly forgot that we are in a global pandemic. Two worlds. This CEO is going to be responsible for losing the best workers Odyssey has. We don’t want to leave but what choice do you have!? The only thing they have good to offer is flexibility and we don’t have that anymore. Time to go. He is only concerned about money and charging our clients more money. They will be next to go. Who cares if we work remote one to two days a week. We did it for over a year just fine!! They don’t get the Ops managers and Supervisors more say. It’s a dictatorship. They know their team the best. Power hungry Director and CEO is not a good look. Find out what we all want. Had a bs meeting about employ retention last year. Of course nothing came from that. Heads up! This is NOT a way to retain employees Einstein. Upper management needs to have a backbone and not let the CEO control their employees.
