Pros

Working for one of the major player in renewable energy Benefits in general are getting better and better especially if you’ve been with the company for a long time Hours can be flexible (as long as the job is done!) People you work with – we’re a small team and we all get along pretty well

Cons

Not being in the main office is challenging (no proper IT support, no HR rep to get us better benefits, not being informed on what’s going on within the company) We don’t get as much opportunities as our American colleagues (we’re in Canada), it can be frustrating to feel like a second-class employee sometimes Lack of career progression due to the size of the office

Pros

I enjoy the people I work with and appreciate the values. It is important to me that the McAlpine's are part of the business and I think they truly care about the business and us as employees.

Cons

Not the highest paying but much better job certainty than other places in renewables
