Pros

-Summer Hours -Casual Dress Code -Steady (short term) paycheck -Average benefit package -Some co-workers are friendly and helpful despite all of the drawbacks

Cons

-Mass, consistent layoffs -Majority of top end leadership and best employees have already left -Ridiculous and unachievable deadlines. Work related stress is high. -Company expects you to work mandatory overtime hours, lacking a work / life balance -Company is content with releasing an erratic, broken product to its clientele and does so quite often. This causes client dissatisfaction that lower level employees must in turn deal with -Pretty much any negative you can think of working at a bad company that I've failed to list exists here. The best advice that I could give a prospective employee if they were to consider working here is, quite frankly, not to and look for opportunities somewhere else. Do not let the smoke and mirrors tactics that are used in an attempt to get you in the door fool you. If you do decide to take a position with this company, I would consider working here to be a short term commitment, one to two years at best, while you look elsewhere for employment and build up experience to add onto your resume. The cons outweigh the pros heavily and you will learn that fact quite quickly.

Thank you for this feedback about your SRS experience, which I wish had been a better one. I’m not sure when you left, but I am happy to share that the company has gone through much change, and we are incredibly pleased with the results. Thanks to our talented, caring team members pulling together (and pulling in some new wonderful additions), we have implemented a customer-centric design process that provides truly useful updates to our clients in near-real time. We have revitalized our vision to adapt to the ongoing changes in our industry in a way that will keep SRS in a leadership position. And most importantly, we are providing our clients -- specialist physicians and their practices -- tools to deliver maximum satisfaction to their patients. These are exciting times at SRS, and I appreciate your giving me a chance to talk about them. I wish you every success, wherever your path leads. Sincerely, Scott Ciccarelli, CEO

Pros

Competitive salary, decent benefits, summer hours. New management team is experienced and dedicated - unfortunately they arrived too late to save the company. Friendly co-workers, family type atmosphere - morale is low though, even that is diminishing.

Cons

Extremely high turnover at the company has caused a lot (if not all) the top talent to leave. I would only recommend working here if I was: unemployed (for a long period of time), looking for my first job out of college, or near the end of my career. SRSsoft is a short lived opportunity at best. I believe current and ex employees are still bitter(I know I am!). There once was a vision, direction, and motivation driven by the founder who drove the company so hard while making promises that were never fulfilled. When the founder left morale dropped, promises were never met, top talent left, and the industry started to consolidate. When taking a job at SRSsoft please be wary and don't believe the hype. It is an 'ok' at best place to work with a decent (but short lived) paycheck which may leave a bad taste in your mouth when you eventually leave.

I appreciate your candid feedback and this opportunity to share what is currently going on behind the scenes here at SRS. As you say, we have a friendly, family-like atmosphere -- and just like many families, we've gone through some hard times recently due to industry changes. Also like a family, we have banded together, and the result will be the strongest SRS yet. We are currently putting the final touches on our new vision and mission, so that we can all work toward the same goal: satisfying our customers' needs to satisfy their patients' needs. If you were here, I think you would be amazed by the incredible changes we have made to our process -- and by the developments we will soon be sharing with the world. It is an honor to build upon the legacy made by current and past team members, and I believe we are building a future of which we will all be proud.
