Thank you for your candid review, I’m glad you still like working here and love the people you work with. I do, too. Personally, I’ve never seen an organization with so many amazing people on the team! Things have indeed changed since the founder left, including a shift in morale. But I hope that over the 3 months since you posted this review, you’ve noticed that change moving more toward the positive side. As you’ve no doubt heard at our Town Hall meetings and through other channels, exciting things are happening at SRS. And yes, I agree about the company mission. Don't be fooled by job postings.

Pros

There are some bright, clever and friendly coworkers in the trenches. Casual dress every day so it's ok to wear jeans.

Cons

Ever since the business was sold to Thoma Bravo, it been on a painfully obvious downward spiral. New management was brought in which seemed like a solid business decision, but the industry is in trouble if you can't move fast enough. SRS cannot keep up the pace. So since they can't increase the bottom line, the solution has been to keep laying people off. No one is immune and they handle the layoffs very poorly. Don't be fooled by the open job listings. Some very smart and very senior people have seen the writing on the wall and have run for the door.

- Rounds of layoffs (while necessary) resulted in low morale - Exodus of experienced and seasoned talent seeking greener pasture - Lack of a more resilient development cycle/change management/product escalation workflow
