Pros

DECENT pay. Flexible. Paid holidays.

Cons

The company itself is a little scattered and haywire. They put a lot of emphasis on the company's profits (company wide meetings bi-weekly) and it's off putting. The CEO literally bragged about his wealth the first day we met him. It just went through a merger of Practice Velocity and DocuTap - Docutap was nice because you had a lot of trust and autonomy as an employee. Now everything is monitored and reviewed and it feels very "big brother". In my department specifically, our processes change weekly and it's extremely hard to keep up with. To note: I know jobs make changes, and it's my responsibility to be adaptive, but this is too much. Not to mention, they refuse to hire new employees because "it's just not necessary", but it absolutely is. For a company that lives and breathes by the numbers, it's unfortunate they don't see the need.

Thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback. I'm not sure what you are basing your DocuTAP comment on if you've been with the organization less than one year - Experity will have been a company for two years in May! That said, I'm glad that you find the pay to be decent and that you appreciate the flexibility that we offer to all positions. We believe in sharing openly and part of that is ensuring that our team members know how we are performing, both financially and towards the functional goals that each team sets. If you'd like to see the numbers behind the decisions regarding headcount, I'm sure your manager would be happy to walk through those with you. We encourage you to reach out to the People Ops team any time with any feedback or questions as well.

Pros

-There are a lot of smart and helpful people that work on the support team that are willing to assist whenever needed -Company does monthly meetings and gives employees updates on where they are at in many aspects of the business, introducing new hires/promotions, and more. -Allowed employees to work from home

Cons

-Taking phone calls all day long to satisfy very needy clients -Huge backlog of tickets to due to high employee turnover -Pay is not up to par for what is expected of employees, software is very complex and there are many different parts to support, but they pay you like a regular call center would. -Work from home training is very informal and will not get you anywhere near where you need to be to be decent at this job. You will be expected to learn on the fly and ask a lot of questions while the client waits on hold. -Company is not interested in long term growth. They have made it clear they are going to sell the company in a couple years so are doing everything they can to grow now and then sell, which likely means new CEO/Upper management.

Thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback. We are happy to hear that you appreciated the frequent and open communication about the business, and we agree that there are some really awesome people on our support team! The past year has definitely presented challenges and elevated stress levels - especially for our clients that are exposed to COVID day in and day out. We've done our best to show appreciation to our client facing teams in a variety of ways.

Pros

I love what I do, my team and working with direct EHR. The clients success and satisfaction with service is what really makes the day for me Great! The CEO is passionate about the company and building a legacy for himself. He is very understanding of financials and is open and informative to the entire company in that respect. Overall I truly love what I do and feel proud to work for Experity.

Cons

Management decisions and lack of employee encouragement for growth and appreciation in addition to poor pay and no compensation for extra job duties from high levels of staff attrition. There is no room for growth currently and there is noticeable clicks which is common at most large companies. VERY STRESSFUL and feel unsupported or appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback. We're so glad that you love what you do! We truly could not have predicted what the last year would bring with the unprecedented volume of business. We recognize and realize the commitment and effort our team members made in 2020 and worked hard to show that through implementing a recognition program, paying out full bonuses, adding an extra holiday, and many other incentives. As a current team member, we would encourage you to reach out to a member of POps to discuss further.
