NETSCOUT reviews about "pay"

Culture is terrible but they tout it as great. I view "Culture" and "Values" as separate metrics, hence my low rating below. After crushing it throughout the pandemic with 100% remote work policies, the executive team came out with a mandate to come back to offices 3 days a week. Reasons given were because "we value in person collaboration" and "In person collaboration spawns innovation". This defies logic after engineering teams were able to post releases that gave the company record years of earnings and sales.

There is very little growth in this company. Be it financial, or career wise. The pay is very low compared to industrials standards, to start with, and the yearly hikes are always less than 4%; sometimes entirely skipped. The job feels like a dead end job, and people don't leave, new people are not hired, and there is basically no room to grow.

I left arbor about 2 years ago and was pretty happy to leave. Definitely a caste system in place between support and engineering. Because of this it's a fairly toxic work environment if you're not on the engineering side of things. I also noticed the folks who were into playing politics got the promotions, such a waste from when I started with Arbor. Because of this you have folks who barely have an idea technically (think power point jockeys who try to be technical but aren't) being put in charge over technical folks (when I was there this was more the exception on the engineering side of things). The other thing to be aware if is career growth is really limited. On the engineering side of the house it looked like there was some room for growth. But elsewhere there wasn't much
