Pros

Fancy offices Work life balance is okay

Cons

The last two years the company has transformed to a bad employer and have lost all the culture and values they had. Management do not care for employees but only for the company policies that are recently introduced and many of them are very unreasonable. There is no humanity there anymore (depending on the team). Career progress does not exist. Clear cronyism without even hiding it.

Pros

Everyone I work with at RES is high caliber. People are intelligent, good communicators and are pleasant to work with. Management is clear on expectations from staff. RES has the resources to outsource help for any pain points, which is great and leads to faster resolution. The company has already been around for 50 years so it is stable and feels safe to invest your time and energy into.

Cons

Career progression is stunted because people are happy here and stay long term, which means elevated positions are harder to come by.
