Pros

Honestly one of the most open and transparent companies around. Not perfect, but a great place to work. There is a concerted effort to grow and gain responsibility. The company trajectory is fantastic. It is run by people with actual experience. If you show up and work hard, contribute to the team, and live the company values, you won't be disappointed.

Cons

It's a startup, so there have been lots of organizational learning and growing experiences. Those can be stressful and put quite a strain on each person, but even during these tough experiences, the leadership team is engaged and working hard to put the company on the right track.

Pros

A lot of talented people work at Madison Reed. The company culture is great, they focus on building real leaders and not so much about embracing those who just whine. They also have the best customer service that I have ever experienced and witnessed. They truly care about the customer and that shows in the decisions that get made at the company. Very open to new ideas and embracing the culture of making a decision, even if it was a mistake and learning from it.

Cons

Communication is always something that is difficult to master with diverse communities of people, with diverse backgrounds. It's not that people don't trust each other, but it's more of, being polite, correct and not wanting to step on anyones toes. I am sure folks are receptive to feedback, but there is a fear of just displeasing someone, to the extent that important feedback about ideas or peers is sometimes lost in the cloud of being nice.
