Good business model, but not the best organization

Pros

The company has a good heart and solid intentions. Pay has been better over the years. Perks are average.

Cons

Leadership/decision making is not efficient - there's no focus in the company. Everyone pretty much works on things that they think are the right things in the moment, but there's very little organization and focus on long term vision. The result = overworked, aimless, and directionless org that creates a lot of stress, uncertainty and security for the future.

Pros

Promotes diversity, decent pay, great benefits & some managers are very supportive

Cons

Constant changes all the time, company is focused way more on their technology & not the actual color line, training is mostly virtual & not hands on, the appointments are rushed making Covid regulations tricky during busy times & pressure to sell memberships even if not in client’s best interest.

The Blame Game

Pros

-Benefits -shares, if you last a year

Cons

Employees are nothing. Senior management will make your life hell by micromanaging you 24/7. Literally. You work 7 days 16 hour days. There is no empathy and all they care about is the NPS score. That way the can sell to investors a facade.

I appreciate the time you've taken to provide this feedback. You make some valid points that a lot of companies struggle with when transitioning from start-up to speed-up and I'm truly sorry to learn that this was a negative experience for you. Company culture is absolutely at the forefront of our priorities. Your concerns are just as important to us as they are to you, and we are taking an active stance on building a positive workplace. If you would like to further discuss your experience for us to learn from, feel free to contact me at HR@madison-reed.com. Again, thank you for sharing.
